Each Sunday we gather for worship at 10:00 a.m.

In worship we come together to pray, listen, sing, reflect, praise, ponder, enact, lament, discover, connect - with one another and with the Holy at the centre of life, the one we have come to call God.

What happens in worship?

We often begin with a time of centering as we let go of the stresses of our lives and open ourselves to be nurtured in spirit.

We are blessed with excellent music offered by our Senior Choir, Junior Choir, Contemporary Group, two handbell choirs, and special music from soloists and others.

Readings from the Bible and other sources offer food for thought as we ponder how to live the "way" Jesus taught.

We generally share in communion on the first Sunday of the month throughout the year and celebrate baptism every other month.

Seasonal worship services around Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter permit us a glimpse into the many expressions of God's call to us

What about Children and youth?

Children and youth begin their Sunday in the sanctuary before going off to explore the message in their own way.

At various times of the year, worship services with all generations allow us to share God's presence in new and different ways.

Come just as you are! Everyone has room to grow at SAUC!

"It is madness to wear ladies' straw hats and velvet hats to church; we should all be wearing crash helmets. Ushers should issue life preservers and signal flares; they should lash us to our pews. For the sleeping god may wake some day and take offense, or the waking god may draw us out to where we can never return."
