BLANKET EXERCISES - Living in Right Relations

There will be four blanket exercises over the next few months.  We believe that one of the ways we can live into right relations is by learning the true history of Canada and the way we have treated Indigenous people. In partnership with St. Albert Family and Community Support Services and the Michif Cultural and Resource Centre, we facilitate Blanket Exercises.

Please bring a blanket that is suitable for putting on the floor

Location:  All exercises will be held at St. Albert United Church

Dates:

Nov. 15   6:30-9:30 pm

Jan. 10   1:30-4:30 pm

Jan. 17   6:30-9:30 pm

We encourage all Congregants of St. Albert United Church  and Community to take the time to attend  a Blanket Exercise held right at our Church. Thanks to those of you who have attended a BE, we are far ahead  of other United churches in Alberta in recognizing  this important part of Reconciliation.

To register for a Blanket Exercise, please call Marilyn McSporran
