We will sit outside on the patio, if it is a nice evening, and share wine and cheese and stories and laughter while we work. Bring a small paring knife to help remove the old wax. Everyone is welcome!!

June 17 following service

We are trying a new format this year and hope to be finished by noon!  A couple of the important items to be discussed are:

Vacancies on Council and Committees

The AGM on June 17 is the meeting at which we elect new peple to serve on the council of SAUC.  There are 3 vacant positions:  Vice-Chair and 2 Liaison positions.  It is important that we have a full Council to consider the important issues that affect our church life and mission over the next two years.

There are also two committees currently without a chair:  Pastoral Care and Affirm - two important ministries within our congregation.

If you are interested or have an idea of someone who might be interested in serving, please call:

Wendy Poirier - 780-460-1260.  She has information on each position.

Ministry at St. Albert United Church

At the Semi Annual meeting on June 17, Council will be bringing forward a proposaal for ministry at SAUC for the church year July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.

Since this motion concerns the ministry, only members in good standing at SAUC may vote.

All questions and comments, however, are welcome at the meeting.
