St. Albert United Church - Solar Power Electrical System

The following photographs show the completed solar panel awning system as viewed from Green Grove Drive on the south and east sides of the church building. The panels are mounted at a fixed tilt angle of 67.5 degrees and the solar array has an azimuth of 143 degrees.

This Project was Awarded a grant in the amount of $12,500 from the City of St. Albert's Environmental Initiatives Grant Program in 2010  Solar Production (kWh)Equiv. Number of Houses Serviced for One Day The Church Dedicated this Solar Electrical System to the Memory of Phyllis Bocock at its Thanksgiving Service on October 9th, 2011.
