Our Music Director, Margaeret Ward Jack coordinates a busy music ministry. Donna Grason is our organist/pianist. Senior Choir under the direction of Margaret, rehearses Thursday evenings. Youth Choir under the direction of Nancy Chegus meets Thursday afternoons.

OUR  HANDBELL  MINISTRY

St. Albert United Church is very fortunate to have a 4+ octave set of Malmark English Handbells and a 4 octave set of Malmark Handchimes.  Many of the bells have been donated, in memorium, by members of the congregation.  Our two Handbell Choirs, United in Bronze and Genesis Ringers, rehearse on Monday evenings from September to May.  They play at select worship services throughout the church year, including Christmas Eve, enriching the music ministry of St. Albert United Church with their distinct sound.  This year both Handbell Choirs will be part of the More Voices Christmas Concert on December 13th.

The Handbell groups also have a rich history of community outreach.  In the past, they have played both at senior's centers and at worship services at other churches in the community.  Dessert and Bells has become an annual springtime event at St. Albert United Church, featuring delicious desserts and an evening of handbell music.  Recently St. Albert United Church hosted Handbell Discovery, a provincial handbell workshop.
