Ending the Journey? Message for Palm Sunday 2011

As we celebrate Palm Sunday we're offered the sobering Isaiah text of the Suffering Servant who refuses to turn his back to his attackers. While there is conjecture who the Suffering Servant is, some suggest that he stands for the community as a whole. This view reminds us that the story of Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem and all that will unfold is not a story that stands alone but one that is woven into all our stories.
