Harvest Home Festival Our second annual "Dinner, Auction, and Other Merriments" was a huge success. Festival goers enjoyed a delicious dinner, great socializing and were treated to the music of harpist Bonnie Cannam; the storytelling of TALES story teller Bethany Ellis; vocal and guitar selections by Robert Mulder, while potter Cheryl Ferguson threw pots on the wheel in the midst of it all, and provided a beautiful bowl for the live auction!
Ways and Means, in conjunction with the music department, is planning for "Winterlude" in the New Year. We're always looking for new people and new ideas, so we welcome anyone interested to join us.
Fledglings (Small group Envionment Ministry) Our deposit recyclable program got off to a great start with the container overflowing. Bravo! Thanks for doing your bit to save our earth and the programming at St. Albert United. Look for the container just inside the front entry.
Fledglings meets once a month (more or less) to share our environmental concerns and explore ways that we might all be stewards of this planet. See the Grapevine for meeting dates and planned activities and projects.
